Is this actually free?

What image should I upload?
A square image at least 1024x1024px works best, since that's the largest size this tool generates (Apple's App Store icon). Anything smaller will look soft once scaled up to the larger sizes.
Does this generate Android adaptive icons?
This tool generates the legacy per-density icon set (mdpi through xxxhdpi, plus the Play Store listing icon), which is what most build tooling still expects and what Android falls back to on older devices. It doesn't currently composite a separate adaptive foreground/background layer.
Do I need every size it generates?
For iOS, Xcode needs the 1024x1024 App Store icon plus whichever sizes your target devices use. For Android, the density buckets cover every screen in use. Downloading the full set means you never have to figure out which ones apply to you.
